How to Make Money Traveling: Catering, Hospitality, and Other Awesome Work Opportunities!

If you love to travel but don’t know how you can afford to stay on the road, check out our how to make money traveling suggestions!

It’s recommended that you save $2,000 per month of travel.

But, if you intend on traveling for longer than your budget will allow, what are you going to do to make money?

Well, if you love to travel but don’t know how you can afford to stay on the road, check out our best suggestions for how to make money traveling! Let’s take a look:

1. Teach English to Pupils Online

Unlike 30 years ago, it’s now possible to find work via the internet. If you’re on the road and a native English speaker then why not consider teaching English online?

If you have a Bachelors degree, are a native English speaker, and have a reliable internet connection then there’s no reason why you can’t rake in a few dollars.

Of course, there are hundreds of options for working online. For example, are you a software developer or translator? Then, you can definitely find work online!

2. Join a Catering Company in Your New City

Wherever you are in the world, someone needs a catering company for their party or event. Finding a catering company to join may take some work but once you’re in, the money is easy and the job can be fun!

If you want to set up your own catering company, then check out this catering equipment!

3. Consider Hospitality Jobs via Workaway

Ever heard of Workaway? This is a website which enables you to work in exchange for bed and board. It beats camping (but only for some!)

Such arrangements aren’t exclusively available via the Workaway website. Although you can’t earn any money this way, if you’re hoping to stay abroad, it’s a great way to help the local community and continue your trip!

4. Jump on a Cruise Ship

Do you have a musical talent, a healing touch when it comes to massages or are you a qualified nurse?

Working on a cruise ship may be the best way for you to continue to gain experience in your profession while still traveling.

There are many cruise ship companies for you to begin your search. Check out All Cruise Jobs for more information.

5. Fly the World as a Flight Attendant

In a similar vein, being a flight attendant is one of the best ways to get to see hundreds of new exotic places.

As well as being able to fly around the world, you’ll also be earning an impressive wage meaning you won’t go broke after seeing a few new cities!

Although this is a job which many people think is easy, this is far from the truth. If you’re unable to stand for hours at a time or be polite to the most irritating of passengers, you won’t make the cut.

Learn more about what it takes to be a flight attendant, here.

How to Make Money Traveling? Use Your Imagination!

When it comes to the question of how to make money traveling, you have hundreds of options. However, a few require you to get creative.

But, once you’ve found a job which will enable you to move about the world and save money at the same time, you’ll be laughing!
